When Employment Goes Wrong 21 Places remaining

Level 10, 99 Elizabeth Street
Sydney NSW 2000

From poor performance to bullying and harassment, the ways in which employment can go wrong are myriad. Certainly the old adage, "when you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all” is a recipe for disaster when it comes to managing these issues. Kellie Edwards and Lucy Saunders will discuss the dos and don’ts of avoiding employment gone wrong, or (if unavoidable) managing it well, including:

  • how to go about a fair dismissal and avoid adverse actions claims and
  • what to do about bullying and harassment
By reference to recent case law and principles of risk minimisation.

Kellie and Lucy invite practitioners attending to send questions in advance of the presentation and on specific issues of interest concerning recent case law and/or particular fact scenarios. Such questions/scenarios, ought be provided to our Clerk by 5 June 2018, in order to be considered for inclusion in the presentation
