Meet Sue & Richard
Sue & Richard have paid off their home and have set aside enough money for their retirement years. Their kids have grown up and now have families of their own. But Sue & Richard want to help them buy homes nearby. They also want to set up an education fund for their grandchildren.

Their financial situation
They own their $1,000,000 home outright and have significant assets including some super.  They want to help their family now by using their home equity. They don’t want to take out a reverse mortgage because of the worry about compounding interest.

Flexibility & choice
With a GEM Equity Loan they can access some home equity and give it to their children now as a ‘living inheritance’. They give some money to their children to help them pay off some of their mortgage and build their small business.
