Marcus Elsum
Head of Capital Markets

Marcus joined Greenway in May 2007 as Head of Capital Markets and brings over 15 years experience in investment banking both here and abroad. Most recently Marcus was Chief Operating Officer and Company Secretary at Ashe Morgan Winthrop (AMW), a leading commercial property finance group represented nationally. Since joining AMW, Marcus developed transaction growth from $600m to $2.5bn thereby increasing company profit from $1m to $5.5m and almost doubling staff numbers from 50 to 90.

Marcus brings to Greenway a demonstrated knowledge of financial and strategic execution, securitisation and structured finance expertise that he previously applied in his role as Executive Director at UBS in Sydney, New York and Tokyo, and the financial service sectors at Credit Suisse First Boston in London and Arthur Andersen in Melbourne. During his career, Marcus has provided transaction, fund raising and structuring advice on financial products and investment strategies to domestic and international banks as well as institutional and government clientele.

Outside work, Marcus enjoys spending time with his wife and three small children. His other interests include fitness, theatre and music.
