Background

Joseph is a multi-specialist who accepts briefs in all Australian jurisdictions.  He has acted for individuals and companies in a wide range of commercial disputes, regulatory actions, and criminal proceedings.  He regularly appears unled in jury and judge alone trials in New South Wales courts.

Joseph has a principal focus on criminal law (including white collar crime), inquests and inquiries, professional discipline, regulatory and public law. He also maintains a broad commercial practice that encompasses contract disputes, professional indemnity and insurance, competition, fraud, corporations law and building and construction law.

Prior to coming to the bar, Joseph was a senior solicitor at the Aboriginal Legal Service in New South Wales, and in private practice.
