Jacinta accepts briefs in all areas of law, with a particular focus on common law, professional negligence, inquests and inquiries, as well as general commercial matters.
Prior to joining the Bar in 2025, Jacinta was a special counsel at MinterEllison, practising in the insurance and corporate risk group.
Her experience is principally in medical negligence, acting on behalf of clients in both private health and public health settings. In this capacity she has experience in complex coronial inquests, representing the interests of individual medical practitioners, local health districts, as well as multiple government agencies. Jacinta has extensive experience appearing in both Victorian and NSW Courts, at all levels, and is proficient at providing high level legal advice, with a strong focus on litigation strategy, liability and quantum. In addition to medical negligence, she experience in common law employer liability, public liability matters and institutional abuse claims.
Outside of the office, Jacinta is a director and company secretary of Capital Punishment Justice Project (CPJP), a small, not-for-profit anti-death penalty NGO that fights against the death penalty and state sanctioned killings.
